GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Please Pray!  Ignite is only two weeks away, and we need your prayers for hearts to be touched through this seminar.  To help you pray, there is a prayer booklet on the desk by the kitchen.  Please take one and use it to ask for God’s blessing on this opportunity for our church.

Have you signed up for IGNITE?  All adults (high school and older) are encouraged to attend.  When?  Saturday, February 22, from 9 AM to 4 PM.  Where?  Here at Westend.  Registration forms are available in the pews and in the Fellowship Center.

Kids Hope Mentors and Prayer Partners – our mentor and prayer partner dinner is scheduled for this Wednesday at 6 PM.  If you were unable to make the previous date and would like to attend, please contact Amanda.

Did you take a look at the book Seeking God’s Face (praying with the Bible through the year)?  If not, you are encouraged to do so.  Sample copies and order blanks are on the desk by the kitchen.  We are hoping to get them by the beginning of March, so place your order soon.

Seniors, reserve February 27 for our potluck luncheon.  We will have lunch at 11:45, then we will hear Lisa VanRyn tell of the case of mistaken identity when Laura VanRyn was buried, thinking she was Whitney Cerak.  Invite your friends to join us.  An offering will be taken for the Bible Camp where the VanRyn family serves.

We have the questions, do you have the answers?  Our Trivia Night is February 28 at 6:45.  Call the babysitter (nursery is not provided) and bring a snack to pass.  Join us for an evening of fun and fellowship!

The Christian Education Committee is setting assistance meetings with Scott Brouwer in May.  If you have questions on how this may affect your application for next school year, please contact April Myles.

We are excited that Arla Thomasma has agreed to accept the role as our prayer ministry director.  Please pray for Arla and the other ministry directors as they seek to follow God’s leading here at Westend.
