Last Friday Michelle VanDam (care group 6) and Ben Rouwhorst were married.  We wish them much joy and many years together.

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Did you know that many children attending public school have no idea who Adam, Abraham, Joseph, Moses, David or even Jesus are?  Kids Life Bible Club wants to bring these people alive to kids at Stocking School and we need your help.  Can you spare just one hour a month on a Tuesday afternoon (3:20-4:20) to help bring the Good News of the Bible to these students?  Helpers for crowd control and huggers are needed.  Contact the church office for more information or to volunteer.  You can make a difference in a kid’s life, but only if you volunteer to do it.

Free Family Night Movie!  Come this Friday at 7 PM and see the animated movie A Monsterous Holiday.  Enjoy the movie, a snack, and the fellowship of church family.  Invite your friends.

Banket for Benevolence.  If you would like some fabulous banket on time for Christmas, and help support Westend’s Benevolence fund, contact Gerri Oosting at 837-7253.  Homemade banket is $5 a stick – and so delicious!

Our deacons are again collecting toys and games for the Other Way Christmas Store.  Would you consider purchasing an extra Christmas gift?  These gifts will be sold at half price to parents with limited means.  A bright red flyer is in your mailbox with details and a suggested gift list.  A Christmas tree will be in the Fellowship Center for the next several weeks so you may place gifts under it.  Please make any gift donations by December 8.

Westend is blessed to have teachers for all of our Church School classes, but some substitute teachers would be greatly appreciated.  Our middle and high school classes are combined (6th-8th, 9th-10th, 11th-12th) and taught by Luanne Hoekzema, Ben Cleveland and Pastor Jeremy.  If you are willing to help occasionally, please contact Larry Maat at larrymaat1028@comcast.net.

THANK YOU
