This morning Brian Myers will bring us a message from Matthew 21:1-11 titled Beyond The Crowd.

MAUNDY THURSDAY SERVICE
This Thursday we come together at 7 PM for Communion, to reflect on the final hours of Jesus’ life, and to worship. Our guest preacher will be Dave Balicki.
NEXT SUNDAY – Easter
Next Sunday we celebrate Easter! Our guest preacher Rev. Scott Stark will bring us a message from John 20:1-23.
The second offering box will be for Faith Promise.
CHURCH FAMILY NEWS
We extend our sympathy to John and June Atsma in the death of June’s brother-in-law, Senator Mark Jansen of Grand Rapids on Tuesday, March 23. A celebration of Mark’s life will be held in April.

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
During the season of Lent, the church travels with Jesus on the road to the cross. As we prepare to remember our Savior’s betrayal, arrest, suffering, and death, we reflect on what things in our lives we may need to put to death so we can live in the newness of Jesus’ resurrection and ascension. We will mark the weeks of Lent by lighting candles in the sanctuary; these same candles will be extinguished on Maundy Thursday as we remember the crucifixion. May the light of Christ shine more deeply into our hearts as we walk this road with him, revealing the darkness within us and making us new.
Kids keep working on your lent BINGO boards! Turn it in by April 11 to get your prize!
Café will resume Wednesday April 7th! We will meet in the café every Wednesday from 1-3pm.
Knit and Crochet will resume Thursday April 8th from 9:30-11:30am. We will meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month in the Café.

Our family has had our plate full of challenges the past few months, but none as devastating as our daughter and son in law, Megan and David Stebbins’, house fire. West Side Christian School is hosting a Spring Fling! The event is on May 1 from 9am-3pm and includes an outdoor marketplace with dozens of vendors, a Super Royal Party (12 characters!), a free petting zoo and $5 pony rides, and lots of food trucks (Kona Ice, Two Bones BBQ, Pizza Parliament, and more).
