Sundays at Westend

Worship Services
Worship is a vital part of every Christian’s life and walk with God. God promises that “where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:19-21), and so we gather together each Sunday eager to receive Biblical teaching, offer gifts of sacrifice and praise, and enjoy time with our church family. Our contemporary-style morning service starts at 9:45am each week, followed by our Discover Hour/Sunday School program that runs during the school year.

Children and Youth
Children are welcome at all services, and nursery is provided for children 0-3. Kids ages 3-5 begin the morning worship with their families in church and are invited to children’s worship following the opening songs. Parents, we’ll let you know when children’s worship begins, and you are invited to bring them downstairs to their classroom and pick them up there at the end of the service. Classes for adults and youth K-12 meet after the morning service from 11:00-noon.

The Westend Band (worship team)
The worship services are led by our worship band.  The team usually consists of some singers and a full band (piano, keyboard, percussion, guitars, bass, drums).

Ministries

We have a variety of ministries at Westend which help us build community and lift up the name of Jesus together. We have Bible studies for men and women, very active high school and middle school programs for students, various social programs and activities, several outreach programs geared toward our neighborhood, and many more. There are many ways to get involved at Westend Church!
