    • The pastor and praise team singers will not be required to wear a mask.
  • We continued discussions on refining our organizational and reporting structure.

We will meet with the staff in the near future to insure that all the tasks of the pastor and administrator are being handled.

During the season of Lent, the church travels with Jesus on the road to the cross. As we prepare to remember our Savior’s betrayal, arrest, suffering, and death, we reflect on what things in our lives we may need to put to death so we can live in the newness of Jesus’ resurrection and ascension. We will mark the weeks of Lent by lighting candles in the sanctuary; these same candles will be extinguished on Maundy Thursday as we remember the crucifixion. May the light of Christ shine more deeply into our hearts as we walk this road with him, revealing the darkness within us and making us new.

In this season of Lent we are going to focus on the light of Christ shining in our hearts.  We are challenging kids of all ages to focus on this by doing random acts of kindness, spending time in God’s word and praying.  We have put together some fun lent activities for kids that include family devotions, a Lent BINGO activities challenge and postcard making.  You may pick up the Lent activity packets for your child this Sunday or anytime next week you may stop in the office to grab an activity pack.

We will hold a coffee time again this Thursday at 10 am in the Cafe.  Please come if you feel comfortable doing so- safe guidelines will be followed.  Hope to see you there!
