Bulletin 5-23-21

TODAY

Today we celebrate being a part of the Westend family as we have our service at the Christian Reformed Conference Grounds for our Retreat Weekend!  Our worship service will be at 10am.  Pastor Dan Kroeze will be bringing us a message from Revelation 5, titled He Is Worthy.

The second offering will be for Feeding America.

NEXT SUNDAY

Next Sunday our guest preacher will be Jerome Burton from Coit Community CRC. His sermon title A Short Funeral is from Acts 9:32-42.

The second offering will be for Mel Trotter.

CHURCH FAMILY

A note from the Treasurer:  After the Congregational meeting last week I wanted to reiterate that financially the changes that are being proposed for Pastor changes will be a savings to the budget that isn’t included in the current proposal.  Some of the savings will be used for pay raises due to increased responsibilities but after that has been completed there could be a substantial savings to the current staffing budget in future years.  Please let Nate Verbeek know if you have any further questions.  Email: Nathan.verbeek@sbcglobal.net
