Important! A couple of weeks ago we sent out an e-mail to all professing members, asking your consideration to serve on Council. Please read the e-mail carefully and make your response by this Sunday, February 21. There is a box near the connection center for your responses. You may also e-mail your response to the office (office@westendcrc.org).
The Ad. Board met on this past Monday night to come up with a plan for the short-term needs of our congregation:
• We will be setting up a pulpit supply schedule as we consider the possibility of an interim pastor.
• We will focus our immediate hiring efforts on filling the administrator position.
• In the meantime, we will re-engage the Building Committee, led by Renz Verbeek, to ensure that the needs of the building and grounds are met.
• Ad. Board will begin meeting bimonthly for the immediate future.
• At our next meeting, we will begin to tackle Westend’s short to medium term needs.

WESTEND HELP WANTED:
Volunteers Needed! We are looking for video tech and soundboard volunteers! If you are interested in either please contact Ryan Faber. He will train any/all volunteers on our new sound system.
Administrative Coordinator – Approximately 32 hours/wk., salaried position. Bookkeeping (QuickBooks), payroll, facilities management, and collaborative work with small staff are occupational requirements. A person of high integrity and a deep love for the Lord and His kingdom work are spiritual requirements. Salary commensurate with experience and skill set. MATTHEW’S HOUSE MINISTRY has an opening for a House Manager for our women’s house. It is a permanent part-time position of 30 hours a week, room & board (permanent if needed or at least 4 nights at week) and we will pay your medical insurance. Job would entail interviewing the applicants, helping them find a job and stay on their budget, oversee the house, and house rules. Must have a passion for helping others.
