This Sunday Pastor Dan will conclude the sermon series titled Back To Basics with the message Serve The World, from John 13:1-17. We will also hear a mission update from Christie VanKuiken.

Praise to God! Audrey Gezon’s heart catherization went well yesterday and they were able to implant two stents which is what she had hoped for.
GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Join us in celebrating Westend’s 30th Anniversary with great food, games, and fellowship! Please join us TODAY at Millennium Park (Pavilion B) after the service to celebrate Westend’s 30th Anniversary! A lunch of pulled pork, sides and drinks will be provided. There is limited seating available so we are asking families to bring camping chairs and/or blankets for additional seating.
There is no Sunday school classes this week due to the 30th Anniversary Celebration, they will resume next week!
Safe Church training will be held after church on Sunday October 3rd and 10th. If you are a teacher, leader, mentor or council member who has not had training in the last 3 years, please plan to attend one of those dates.
Ladies, are you ready to connect with other women but it is hard to commit to a weekly Bible study? Join us for a time to connect with God and each other. No commitment or materials needed, just come ready to worship, study and be together. We will meet the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month starting September 29th!

Please consider a gift during the concert’s offering to help serve the home’s residents who for many years have served us. If you are not able to attend, please consider mailing a gift to help with their $6,000 fundraising goal this year!
Calling all car lovers! We invite you to take a step back in time and see some vintage cars and trucks while enjoying a delicious burger, hot dog, and root beer float! The WSCS Car Hop will take place Saturday, October 2 from 11:00am – 2:00pm at Westview Christian Reformed Church (2929 Leonard St NW, Grand Rapids). Proceeds from the event will go to the WSCS PTA.
Israel & Jordan Study Tour (March 31 – April 12, 2022):
Travel to NT sites connected with Jesus’ life and the early church: Bethlehem, Nazareth, Caesarea, Capernaum, Bethsaida, Sea of Galilee, Caesarea Philippi, the major biblical places in Jerusalem, Masada and much more. This tour also uniquely involves key biblical sites in Jordan, including the amazing city of Petra.
