A Bootsma family update:

The Last few months have brought on a lot of changes for so many people because of COVID-19. Our family has seen some beautiful things come from this season and some difficult ones. One significant change that has come for our family is a mix of difficult and beautiful. Our time here in Michigan is coming to a close. We will be moving back to Canada on July 6th to Rebecca’s home town on the East Coast of Canada (Prince Edward Island). This all came about quite quickly (sooner than we felt ready for) but we are trusting Gods hand in this and following him where we feel he is calling us. He is good! We are so thrilled to be moving close to family once again. God has really been working and Brad has been given some cool ministry opportunities to be a part of and this is so exciting.  He will be switching his education to distance learning to complete his MDiv studies at Calvin Seminary, will be working with Prison Fellowship Canada as well as a few other exciting opportunities to reach individuals on the margins. We are excited and scared and wanted to take this opportunity to say Thank you!  It has been such a precious time for our family to live here and we have been truly blessed by so many of you from the Westend Church community. From Wednesday community dinners, youth group, GEMS, Cadets, sundays school, friends we have made, the “after church” chats with so many of you, and the encouragement we received so regularly we will always be thankful for you. You did such a great job at welcoming our family. Please don’t stop welcoming new faces into your church family!  You are very special people and you were the true hands and feet of Jesus to a scared and unsure family 2.5 years ago when we moved here and knew no one. We covet your prayers during these last weeks here as so many details need to come together yet.

We are having a small open house this Saturday (June 27th) from 2-4pm for anyone who would like to stop by and say goodbye. Due to Covid-19 we will only be able to gather outside. Our address is 11414 Hunters Meadow Dr. Allendale. Email bradbootsma88@gmail.com if you have any questions. We hope to see you there.
